Large Striped Bass fishing is best where the Caney Fork flows into the Cumberland River (here!). It is time to start making reservations for next years striped bass fishing. Sagar should be hitting soon. Fishing has been only fair on Cordell Hull and Center Hill Lakes close by. The new boat launch by Paris Crump Park (1 mile by road, 7 by water) is open. Visitors in August caught a 40 pound striped bass in the caney right in front of Dreaming by the River! Pic link at left.
